King Beleth - The Demon King Who Arrived on a Pale Horse - Demonology

In the annals of demonology, few figures command as much dread and fascination as King Beleth. Named in the Ars Goetia, the first section of the infamous grimoire The Lesser Key of Solomon, Beleth is described as a powerful and terrible king who rules over 85 legions of infernal spirits.

According to the old texts, Beleth makes his appearance riding upon a pale horse, heralded by the sound of trumpets and other musical instruments; a grim, almost ceremonial entrance befitting royalty of the underworld. Despite his fearsome presence, grimoire tradition claims he can be surprisingly courteous toward the magician who summons him, provided the conjurer holds firm and shows no fear, often using a specific ring as a point of protection during the ritual.
