The Jinn - Ancient Spirits of Smokeless Fire - Stories of the Quran

Long before humans walked the earth, the Quran tells us, Allah created another kind of being; the Jinn, fashioned from "smokeless fire" (Surah Al-Hijr, 15:27). Unlike angels, who are pure light and obedience, the Jinn share something profoundly human: free will.

They eat, sleep, marry, and choose between right and wrong, just as we do. Among them are the faithful and the rebellious, the wise and the deceitful. The most infamous of all is Iblis, who defied Allah's command to bow before Adam; a moment that echoes through Islamic theology as the origin of temptation itself.

The Jinn live in a world parallel to ours, unseen but not entirely separate. Quranic verses and centuries of tradition describe their encounters with prophets, their fascination with human affairs, and their place in the unseen order of creation.

Their story raises timeless questions; about free will, temptation, and the unseen forces that shape our world.
