Ranked as a Great Earl of Hell, Raum commands thirty legions of demons and is traditionally depicted appearing first in the form of a crow before shifting into human shape at the conjurer's request.
According to the old texts, Raum's powers were said to include the ability to steal treasures from kings' houses, destroy cities and the dignity of men, reveal the past and future, and foster love between friends and foes alike. His crow form connects him to a long tradition of corvid symbolism in folklore; birds long associated with omens, secrets, and the threshold between worlds.
Like much of the Ars Goetia, Raum's lore blends medieval demonology, ceremonial magic, and centuries of scribal embellishment, making him a fascinating case study in how these grimoire traditions developed.
